Through the copying of digital content by hand, Teletrabalho comments on the relationship between consumed information and labor in the twenty first century. The work consists of articles copied from the internet to sheets of paper that are then attached to windows until they cover them completely. The production of the articles happened on the street in a fixed weekly schedule, resulting in a total workload of twenty six and a half hours. All the hundred and sixty articles (the number of sheets necessary to cover the windows) were related to themes such as idleness, boredom and laziness, and their relation to ideas about personal productivity and efficiency. The language of the articles is permeated by challenges of the COVID-19 sanitary crisis, which has put work relations and their moral predicaments in the center of discussions about society in 2020.

By re-writing digital content with pen and paper, Adorno proposes a reflection on the controversial nature of idleness and leisure in a world where virtual connection is ubiquitous. Teletrabalho argues that while sustaining this system of production and consumption of content, we become not only recipients of its product, but also agents that generate value for companies and institutions that control such systems. In this sense, decoding and absorbing information, more than a habit or mode of entertainment, is a form of unpaid work.

Através da cópia manual de conteúdos digitais, Teletrabalho comenta sobre relações de consumo de informação e trabalho no século XXI. A obra consiste em artigos copiados da internet à mão em folhas de papel e colados nas janelas da Abapirá até cobri-las por completo. A produção do trabalho foi feita na rua, em uma escala semanal de horários fixos, contabilizando uma carga horária de vinte e seis horas e meia. Todos os cento e sessenta artigos - número suficiente para cobrir as janelas - abordam temas relativos ao ócio, ao tédio e à preguiça, em oposição ou intersecção com idéias sobre produtividade e eficiência. O discurso nos artigos é permeado pela crise causada pela pandemia do COVID-19, que colocou relações de trabalho e suas dimensões morais no centro das discussões sobre a sociedade ao longo de 2020.

Ao reescrever conteúdo digital com papel e caneta, Adorno propõe uma reflexão sobre a natureza controversa do ócio e do lazer num mundo onde conexões virtuais são onipresentes. Teletrabalho argumenta que ao sustentar esse sistema de produção e consumo de conteúdo, nos tornamos não só recipientes de seu produto final, mas também agentes que acabam por gerar valor para outrem. Nesse sentido, decodificar e absorver informação, mais do que hábito ou entretenimento, é uma forma de trabalho não remunerado.
